Advisory, Turkish Embassy, New Delhi and Mr A.K Merchant, Secretary of
Temple of Understanding Organization, New Delhi. Mr. Shaeed Shiddiqi,
speaking on the occasion said that Sufism didn't belong to any one
religion, it's for all mankind who wants to have happiness and stay
connected to God. Mentioning the importance of Sufism, Mr. Ozgur Aytuk
said that Sufism helped one to attain peace and be more concerned
towards humanity. Sufism helps one to be more human and humble. An absorbing cultural programme followed, which had performance from
various renowned artists. Kashmir folk singer, Mr. Inayat Noor and Mr.
Muktaar Ahmed, Kashmiri Naat Sharif, Kashmir society performance
conveyed a lot of messages through the music. The audience was
enthralled with their performance. More performances followed as Zaki
and Zakir Ali the famous Chistiya Sufi Khawal came on stage. Their
music was unique in tune, beat and pitch as they sang. The audience
enjoyed every single moment that they performed. The ever popular
kwali Duma Dum Mast Kalander by them took the audience on their feet
and mesmerized them.
